Amy was born and raised in Ellis County. In 2011 Amy decided to leave a career in banking and switch things up. She jumped into the dental world and hasn’t looked back! Having worked with Dr. Jarrod Jones for 8 years, it was easy to be on board with the Joneses’ dream of eyeSMILE Vision and Dental. Amy worked as a dental assistant and now is the Office Manager of eyeSMILE Dental. Amy has one son, Lucas, who will graduate from Hays High School in 2020. He will attend FHSU in the fall of 2020 leaving Amy with some time to rediscover hobbies and travel with friends and family.

My name is Aubrey, I was born in Russell but raised in Hays. I am married with a very active elementary school-aged son, a dog, and a fish. I have worked in Restaurant, Retail, and Banking in Hays since 1996. Needing a change, I made the move into the medical field in 2016 and then the dental field in 2019. I graduated in 2002 from FHSU with a Bachelor of Business Administration and an emphasis in Financial Planning. In my free time, I love spending time with family, playing games or sports with my son, reading, crafting, and just relaxing. I also love cooking, baking, sunflowers, and monkeys! My husband, son and I love to cheer on our local sports teams, especially FHSU and the Hays Larks as well as the KC Chiefs, KC Royals, and Kansas Jayhawks.
Jada is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists, born and raised in Garden City, KS. She attended Garden City Community College and Fort Hays State University before graduating from the dental hygiene program at Johnson County Community College in 2017. After graduating she made the move back to Hays and married her husband, Justin. Justin and Jada welcomed their daughter, Ella, in 2020 and are having such a fun time watching her grow and discover new things each day. In her free time Jada loves spending time with her family and friends, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas State Wildcats, and relaxing on the front porch. Her favorite hobby is archery target practice and hunting with Justin and their two dogs. They look forward to sharing their love for the outdoors with Ella as she grows. Jada loves the small-town feel of Hays and joined our EyeSMILE team in 2018. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and teaching them not only how to improve their oral health but how it also affects the body systemically.
Leigh Ann Edmonds, Registered Dental Hygienist at eyeSMILE Vision and Dental. I graduated from Fort Hays State University in 1999 with an Associates in Business and decided to fulfill my dream of Dental Hygiene and graduated from Colby Community College in 2002. Please don’t start doing the math because this definitely puts me over 40….Yikes! When I was in middle school, Dr. Ruliffson talked to me about a career in Dental Hygiene because I expressed the desire to work in the field of Dentistry. This stuck with me and from then on I soaked up everything about the dental world when I would go visit my hygienist at his office.
I have been working with Dr. Jarrod Jones for more than 16 years and it has led to a great relationship and career. My favorite part of hygiene is getting to come to work and interact with my clients. I have enjoyed many laughs, tears, and life achievements with my patients. I love 80’s music so I do, at times, serenade my patient whether they like it or not. I live in a fun, crazy, blessed household that includes my hubby of 17 years, Casey Edmonds, and my 3 children, Georgia, Jett, and Claire. Casey and I met in college at Fort Hays and it has been a fairy tale love story since! He might beg to differ on this, but this is my bio….right? We do have a fur baby that is very loved and her name is Duner. She has been with us for 15 years. I love to go to concerts from country music (Garth Brooks) to rock (Metallica). I enjoy traveling, four-wheeling, camping, and having lots of family time with my parents, in-laws, brothers, and their families. Family is very important to me. I am guilty of enjoying a good book and puzzle also.
My name is Natalie, I was born in Colorado and grew up in Ohio and Stockton, KS. I moved to Hays in 2007 where I met my husband, Mathew Bender. We have two beautiful boys together, Mason and Oliver. I am a Certified Paraoptometric and have been with EyeSMILE since 2018. I previously spent 8 years working in banking. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors, cooking, and cheering on the Denver Broncos.
My name is Stacy, I was born and raised in Nebraska. I have now lived in Kansas for 26 years. I am married and have 2 children. I’ve been in the dental field for about 25 years. I have worked with Dr. Jarrod for 3 years. I truly enjoy helping people be healthy and have beautiful smiles. I love spending time with my family at the lake and traveling.
I’m Emily, I was born and raised right here in Hays, Kansas. I married my high school sweetheart, Wade, in October 2021. Together we have a beautiful daughter. I joined the eyeSMILE team in October of 2020 working as the receptionist and ultimately joined the clinical team as a dental assistant. I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoying the outdoors. My favorite part of working at eyeSMILE is the amazing doctors and staff and getting to build relationships with the patients. It feels good being able to help give beautiful smiles to members of the community I love so much!
Hello! I am Shaudel Bain, the Vision Therapist at EyeSmile. I am married to Joe and I am a proud mother of beautiful twin girls and a handsome little boy. I was born and raised in Goodland; graduated from FHSU; spent 10 years in the KC area and recently moved back to Hays after living in Goodland for about 8 years. We love being back in Hays and being a part of the FHSU Tiger family!
I am excited about this opportunity to learn and grow in the world of Vision Therapy at such an amazing place, and I look forward to an incredibly rewarding career in this field. It’s a true blessing to be a part of our patients’ accomplishments and see their lives improve. When I am not running from one kid event to another, I enjoy cooking, movie nights with the family, watching my Jayhawks play basketball, traveling, and enjoying lazy days at the lake. You can often find me next to our Australian Labradoodle, Avett, as he is a very needy dog that loves his mama a bunch!
My name is Patricia, I was born and raised in Great Bend, Kansas. After attending Barton County Community College, I moved to Denver and went to Mountain States Travel School. Then I worked in the travel industry for 14 years. I moved to Hays, KS where I met my husband and together we raised two children, a son Shane and a daughter Shayla. In 2012, we lost our son, at the age of 21 due to Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Our daughter is married and has a beautiful step-daughter and a second child due in October. I took several years away from the workforce after working at the school where my oldest child attended. After spending the next 6 years working for a surgery center, I switched things up and I found my home at the front desk of eyeSMILE Vision and Dental!
My name is Kenzie Cook, I was born in Colorado Springs and then moved to Hays where all my family is originally from. I started out as a cosmetologist for about 5 years then made a switch the medical field in 2015 where I have worked in urology and eye care. I have two beautiful boys named Westyn and Hunter. We spend a lot of our time traveling for wrestling and football during the fall/winter and enjoy spending our summers at the pool or lake. During my free time I love running and going to the gym. I look forward to taking care of our patients at the Certified Paraoptometic.
I was born and raised in Rossville, Kansas. I moved to Hays to attend college at FHSU and graduated with an Associates of General Studies with a Minor in Medical Science. I married my husband, Brendon, in June of 2017. We welcomed our handsome son, Bennett, to our little family in December of 2018. Our family is active in the cattle industry and I enjoy spending time on the farm with my horses. I joined the eyeSmile team as a dental assistant in December of 2022. I love working alongside the amazing staff here at eyeSmile. Helping to give patients a great experience and being a part of such an awesome team, means so much to me!
I am an American Board Certified Optician at eyeSMILE Vision and Dental. I grew up in Sharon Springs, KS and then attended Fort Hays State University majoring in Psychology. While attending FHSU, I was offered a job working for a local optometrist and fell in love with the eyecare profession. 24 years later and I am still in this amazing profession!
In June of 1999 I married my husband James and we have 3 wonderful children, Clay, Micah and Avrianna. While not working you may find me at the gym or the lake, spending time with my husband and children or traveling.
I absolutely love being an optician here at eyeSMILE. I enjoy helping our patients and watching them smile when they find that perfect pair of glasses or discover how much their new contacts improve their vision.
I was born and raised in Ness City. I have been a Dental Assistant for 28 years and I have worked in Orthodontics for the past 15 years. Coming back to General Dentistry has given me the challenge of learning the new technology and a variety of many different things I have learned here at eyeSmile. I have always loved teeth and creating a BEAUTIFUL Smile for all my patients. With every opportunity I get I love spending time with my family and friends.
My name is Lauren. I am a dental assistant here at eyeSMILE. I was born and raised in Ellinwood, KS. I’ve spent a total of about five years in Hays, so it definitely feels like home now! I started dental assisting in 2017. In 2020 I welcomed my sweet son, Magnus into the world! I was blessed with three years as a stay-at-home mom. However, getting back to work in the dental office was something I was excited about. EyeSMILE has proven to be the best work family. Pauletta HussI was born and raised in Hays, KS. In 2006, I went to cosmetology school, and obtained my license in 2007. I worked at a salon for five years and then decided to move on to the medical field. I have worked with many different people and gained skills in customer service and quality work. In 2017, I married my husband, Skyler. We have two daughters, Adalie and Braylie. I joined the EyeSMILE team in August 2023. I am so honored to be part of this amazing team!
